This video made me smile. Made me like our world a little bit more. Made me want to be kinder to other people. I love how sometimes when the world seems to go down, there are people who restore my faith in humanity again. These are some of those people. Love is shared, laughter is made, I love it. MOVIES || Walt Disney

Walt Disney is and always will be a hero to me. His movies are a part og my childhood and so they will be for my future little children as well. Bambi, little mermaid, cinderella, Pooh Bear, Snow white, Beauty & the Beast, and so on. A while back, I decided to re-watch these films. So I've downloaded the complete Disney collection! I own a lot of them already, but all on Video, which I can't play anymore.. so therefore, downloading.. And it was quite a package! Took me a few days to get it. But I started watching it and oh my.. such art. Even now, I love it, make fun of me if you want. Forget Hannah Montana and the Sweet life on the deck or whatever it's called.. this is true Disney art.

EVENT | Appelpop

This weekend I went to Appelpop! Appelpop is a free festival in Tiel, the Netherlands. It has become one of the largest and most popular festivals of the Netherlands. Recent editions of the two day festival were visited by over 150.000 people. And it's still growing! I've been to Appelpop for the last couple of years but yesterday it was more crowded then I've ever seen it. At the time of the final performance, I almost didn't fit in the partytent anymore, (which fits like 30.000 people). I really liked most of the performances this year. Not everything is my piece of cake but that doesn't matter because there are always more performances going on at two or three stages (there are three stages) so there's always something to listen to. Or if not, you can just enjoy the lovely city Tiel, which is a very small town but quite cozy to go out to eat or have a drink. One of the things I love most of this festival is that you see all types of people. Young, old, 'popular, alternative, friends, families.. the great thing about that is that there's no judgement. I don't remember ever seeing people get into a fight, or being hostile to each other here. It's a great atmosphere where everyone eats, drinks, listens and sings together. I love it.

MOVIES || Adding to my collection..

A few days ago I went to a media store and bought a 'few' dvd's. Off I went, just done with 8 hours of work, thinking how nice it would be to get a new movie. So there I was, in the store, just after getting my paycheck and looking at all these movies. First I started of with choosing just one. Great. But then again.. that one was really good as well. Alright two then. And then all of the sudden, I realised there were too many good movies and choosing only one or two would not be an option. So I to started walking around in this huge story taking movies everywhere. Shoving them in my little shopping cart untill I had one big pile of epic films. When I was done ofcourse I realised I wouldn't buy the 20 movies I'd selected. So I put back two of them.. and bought the rest.. People at the checkout actually started laughing at me but hey, I've got my movies! I'm happy!

LIFESTYLE || Television for the rainy days

If you're a lucky basterd like me living in Holland where it rains 95% of the time, I'm sure you'll get bored sometimes. And even if you live somewhere sunny, I'm sure you'll get bored sometimes as well. What I love to do when I'm bored (or just when I feel like it) is to watch some tv-shows. I love tv-shows. They're exiting and addictive, if you know which ones to watch.
